They better listen or things will end up terrible for them.
President Trump tweeted out that he will be vetoing a bill if an amendment on renaming U.S. Army bases was added.
Senator Elizabeth Warren brought up the renaming amendment and Trump’s response to that was:
I will Veto the Defense Authorization Bill if the Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren (of all people!) Amendment, which will lead to the renaming (plus other bad things!) of Fort Bragg, Fort Robert E. Lee, and many other Military Bases from which we won Two World Wars, is in the Bill!

Another senator, Josh Hawley, proposed another amendment that would reverse Warren’s amendment. He stated that he opposed “historical revisionism” and that his reasoning was “not to celebrate the cause of the Confederacy, but to embrace the cause of union.”
Obama’s administration had refused to rename the U.S. Army bases, and now Warren, also a Democrat, wants to change it.
