Texas Police Chief SLAMS Ted Cruz

Here’s what he said…

During a recent interview with CNN, Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo slammed Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) for flying to Cancun during a winter storm in Texas.

According to Breitbart, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer asked, “A quick question before I let you go, chief. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, he’s now back in Texas, in Houston, after a backlash over his decision to fly to Cancun with his family. You confirm the Houston police assisted with his departure yesterday. What’s your reaction to him taking to take a vacation when so many of his fellow Texans are struggling?”

Acevedo responded, “We’ve all made poor choices. That’s for him to explain. I think it’s a little tone-deaf. And sometimes you got to teach your kids the word ‘no’ and this probably would have been a good time to tell your kids ‘no, we’re blessed, but we have to wait till we get Texas on our feet. Again, we’ve all made bad decisions sometimes. As a dad, maybe his heart got the best of him.”

You can watch a clip of Acevedo’s comments here.

What possible difference would it have made if Ted Cruz was in Texas or not?

    Really jerks answer that.

He can’t fix the power lines. He can’t make the power companies work faster.

Why are you idiots going nuts over what Ted Cruz is up to?

Seems like the media has ground an anti conservative spin and you idiots are falling for it.

Stop being stupid and act like americans..

I know how about you set up a go fund me for Texas relief.
