His 2020 presidential run is in the GUTTER.
The enormous democratic field for the 2020 presidential election just got a whole lot smaller, figuratively, as the latest polling data shocked the left side of the aisle.
With now over twenty democrats vying for the chance to take on the presumed republican candidate Donald Trump in November of next year, it was plain to see that the entire democratic party was going to eat itself alive. In many ways, the situation parallels that of the 2016 republican race, where Donald Trump knocked off each and every one of his opponents by eschewing the political rules of the DC Swamp, and issuing nicknames to those who dared to oppose him.
That was a race full of embarrassing moments for the GOP, as the glut of candidates made it all that much easier for Donald Trump to arrive and suck all the air out of the room.
It got so bad at one point that Jeb Bush had to ask people to clap for him.
The same sort of vacuous confusion is occurring on the left today, as Joe Biden’s entrance into the race has smacked the DNC like a wayward asteroid.
Bernie Sanders, a 2016 candidate and, at one point the 2020 frontrunner for the democrats, is feeling the brunt of this cataclysmic shift.
Former Vice President Joe Biden has a 32-point lead in the Democratic presidential race in a Hill-HarrisX poll released Monday.
Biden won 46 percent in the poll compared to 14 percent for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), who came in a distant second place.
Former South Bend, Ind. mayor Pete Buttigieg was in third place with 8 percent, followed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) with 7 percent.
The former VP, nicknamed “Sleepy Joe” by the President, will still have his work cut out for him, thanks in part to the litany of women who have come forward to complain of his inappropriate, intimate behavior toward them over the course of Biden’s career.
