Here’s what happened…
Recently, nine House Democrats decided to vote for a Republican amendment that would make sure a Democrat bill would not be able to impede on a coronavirus vaccine.
Before a final vote for the H.R. 1425, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Enhancement Act, Rep. Greg Walden called for a motion to recommit to attach an amendment stating that the bill would not “adversely affect research on, development of, or approval of any drug (including any biological product) intended to treat or prevent infection with the virus that causes COVID–19.“
The Democrats culled to motion to recommit with a 223-187 against the motion.

Even though the Republicans were not able to recommit, nine Democrats sided with the Republicans and broke rank.
The nine Democrats were:
- Rep. Anthony Brindisi (D-NY)
- Rep. Abby Finkenauer (D-IA)
- Rep. Jared Golden (D-ME)
- Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ)
- Rep. Ben McAdams (D-UT)
- Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D-FL)
- Rep. Collin Peterson (D-MN)
- Rep. Max Rose (D-NY)
- Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-NJ)
Seems like there are some Democrats that are intelligent enough and are not sheep. Read the whole story here.
