Effective immediately, the NBA has suspended all of their scheduled games after one Utah Jazz player tested positive for the coronavirus.
According to NBA News, The discovery was made just before tip off of the Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder game scheduled Wednesday night and the game was immediately cancelled.
“As we noted earlier today, with the escalating situation surrounding COVID-19, we find ourselves in a rapidly-changing environment by the day, if not the hour,” the team said.

Along with the NBA, according to Quartz, European soccer is planning to suspend games as well and “major golf and tennis tournaments, marathons, and entire college sports seasons have been cancelled.”
