Senator Kamala Harris is running for president in 2020. In what appears to be a bid to connect with fellow Californians, Harris admitted that she has smoked marijuana inadvertently putting herself as a hypocrite.
While being interviewed on WWPR-FM’s “The Breakfast Club,” Harris said that she used to listen to Tupac and Snoop Dogg while smoking cannabis.
“I have [smoked pot] and I inhaled, I did inhale,” she shared. “It was a long time ago, but yes. I just broke news.”
“Listen, I think that it gives more people joy,” she offered. “We need more joy.”
Harris confessed her smoking took place while she was allegedly in college, and that’s where her story fall apart.
You see, Harris completed her education in 1989, while Tupac’s debut album didn’t appear until 1991. Snoop Dogg was even farther from that timeline, releasing his first album in 1993.
That oversight was quite telling of Harris, who started working as deputy district attorney of Alameda County, CA in 1990.
That would mean that Harris was expected to be enforcing drug laws, an expectation Harris was enthusiastic to meet.
Harris took a hard line stance on drug laws and is known to have opposed legalizing marijuana “as late as 2014,” sources from Reason report.
It’s seems awfully early for the skeletons to be spilling out of Harris’ closet.
